Language & communication
Strong communication can make a big difference at work. Our programmes help candidates build practical workplace English and measure progress clearly.

Measure your progress
Candidates are assessed against a published language descriptor when they start and again when they finish. Your result shows a clear level rather than a general description.
These programmes are not IELTS, TOEFL, or Marlins preparation courses. If you need an externally recognised language qualification, we will tell you and direct you to an appropriate provider.
What we practise
- Speaking with guests, colleagues, and supervisors in workplace situations
- Understanding and following spoken instructions
- Writing short workplace messages, handover notes, and incident reports
- Communicating clearly during interviews
- Asking for clarification when you do not understand something
