For families and sponsors
Clear information for families
Your family deserves clear answers before making a decision. Here you'll find what to ask, what to check, and the warning signs to look out for.

What BIWD promises to keep clear
- A written pathway before you pay for a programme
- Clear fees and one payment plan for each programme
- A named adviser who can answer your questions
- Clear information about what BIWD does and what other organisations decide
- No promises of jobs, visas, or deployment
Questions worth asking any training provider
- What exactly does the fee include, and what does it not include?
- Who issues the certificate, and can I verify it independently?
- What happens if my child withdraws after starting the programme?
- What is the attendance requirement?
- Who actually decides whether my child gets a job?
- Can I see the complaints policy and response times?
Warning signs to watch for
If you see any of these, stop and verify the information before paying.
Training providers cannot control an employer's hiring decision.
Visa decisions belong to the relevant government authorities.
Be careful when someone creates pressure to pay immediately.
Institutional payments should go through official payment channels.
You should always be given time to understand the terms and policies.
Every official payment should have a proper receipt.
Talk to an adviser together
Families are welcome to join the conversation. We can explain the pathway, costs, requirements, and limitations so everyone hears the same information.
